Tate Offers Free On-line Underfloor Service Distribution Continuing Education Program
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JESSUP, MD, April 2007
Continuing our tradition as the industry leader in research, development, manufacturing and market education of access floors and underfloor service distribution (USFD) Tate is proud to offer a convenient on-line continuing education course titled Underfloor Service distribution: Office Buildings. The on-line course hosted by AEC Daily provides information on the benefits of using an access floor to create a more efficient service delivery plenum for HVAC, power, and voice/data cabling. The presentation explains the benefits of UFSD in comparison to traditional overhead construction. These benefits include: first costs, operational costs, flexibility for change, indoor comfort, productivity and other green advantages which make UFSD the increasingly common choice for commercial office construction.
Through AEC Daily, Tate’s UFSD course has been approved for continuing education credits to members of the following associations and organizations.
o AIA (The American Institute of Architects) o CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) o HSW (Health, Safety and Welfare) o AIBD (American Institute of Building Design) o BOMI (Building Owners & Managers Institute) o IDCEC (Interior Design Continuing Education Council) o AAA (The Alberta Association of Architects) o AIBC (Architectural Institute of British Columbia) o ASLA (American Society of Landscape Architects)
We are happy to be able to offer this free service to such a wide range of individuals. To get more information, or to take the Tate UFSD for office building continuing education course visit http://www.aecdaily.com/sponsor/tate.
